Why Recordvoice?

Built for high-fidelity audio

We bypassed standard browser limitations to build an engine that captures raw, uncompressed audio for professional use cases.

01

Musicians & Vocalists

Standard voice memos compress audio, destroying high frequencies. Our engine captures the full spectrum (20Hz - 20kHz), preserving the "air" in vocals and the attack of acoustic instruments.

Format Lossless WAV (PCM)
02

Podcasters & Voiceovers

Record remote interviews or solo narration without installing heavy DAW software. Use the integrated Highpass Filter to instantly remove low-end rumble (AC units, traffic) before exporting.

Sample Rate 44.1kHz / 48kHz
03

Private Dictation

For lawyers, doctors, and journalists handling sensitive data. Unlike server-based tools, Recordvoice processes data locally. No audio file is ever transmitted over the internet.

Security Client-Side Only
04

Fast Audio Mockups

UX designers and video editors use our tool to record temporary "scratch" audio. Record, trim the silence, and drag the file directly into Premiere, Figma, or Audition in seconds.

Latency Near Zero (~3ms)

Expert Advice

How to get studio-quality sound

Recording is 50% software and 50% environment. Follow these tips to get the crispest audio possible from your browser.

Acoustics

Control your environment

Echo is the enemy of clean audio. Avoid recording in empty rooms with hard floors. Soft surfaces like rugs, curtains, or even a closet full of clothes naturally absorb reverb, making your voice sound professional and "dry."

Hardware

External mics matter

While Recordvoice maximizes your laptop mic's potential, an external USB microphone significantly lowers the "noise floor." Ensure you select the correct input device in your browser permissions before hitting record.

Workflow

Denoise last, not first

Our engine captures raw audio. We recommend recording the full session first, trimming the silence, and then applying Auto Denoise at the end. This prevents the "clipping" effect sometimes caused by real-time filters.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Recordvoice.net really 100% free?

Yes. Recordvoice Studio is free forever. There are no hidden fees, no "Pro" plans, no credit card requirements, and no daily usage limits. You get full access to the recorder, editor, and all voice effects immediately.

Is my recording private and secure?

Yes, completely. Recordvoice uses Client-Side Processing. This means your audio is recorded and processed locally on your device's memory. Your voice data is never uploaded to our servers, making it safe for sensitive or private dictations.

What audio format does it export?

We export in WAV (PCM) format. This is an uncompressed, lossless studio standard that preserves the highest possible audio quality. WAV files are compatible with all major editing software (Audacity, Premiere, GarageBand) and can be easily converted to MP3 if needed.

Does this work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Recordvoice is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that runs directly in your mobile browser (Safari on iOS, Chrome on Android). No app installation is required. Just visit the site, tap allow on the microphone prompt, and start recording.

Is there a time limit on recordings?

There is no artificial time limit imposed by us. You can record for minutes or hours. The only limit is your device's available memory (RAM) and storage space. For extremely long sessions (3+ hours), we recommend saving periodically.

Why can't I hear my recording?

Please check your browser permissions. The first time you visit, your browser will ask permission to use the microphone. If you denied it, click the lock icon in your address bar (or settings icon on mobile) to reset permissions and allow access.

Can I edit and cut my audio?

Yes. After recording, you will see a waveform visualization. You can click and drag to select any part of the audio, then use the Cut tool to remove silence, mistakes, or unwanted sections instantly.

How do I remove background noise?

Our Denoise tool uses a highpass filter and dynamic compressor to reduce background hiss and rumble. Simply click the "Denoise" button in the toolbar after recording to apply the filter to your track.

What is the recording quality?

We capture audio at the highest sample rate your hardware allows (typically 44.1kHz or 48kHz) at a high bitrate (256kbps). We bypass standard browser echo cancellation filters to give you the raw, full-frequency sound of your microphone.
